Nostalgic Me

When I look back to the last semester I've had..everything seems like a dream. That dreadful THESIS, the requirements I had to comply with, the graduation....
I feel like I've never had a strong grasp of them while it was happening. The only proof I have that I've finished them all in time is the pictures on FB I am now viewing.

Let me share to you one:

This was taken at the Caliraya Resort. We were about to face the panelist for the FINAL DEFENSE.

Everything still seems surreal to me.

KPOP Craze-Twinkle Twinkle by Girl's Day

I'm the type who rarely comes to like cutesy concepts. But this TWINKLE TWINKLE song of the KPOP girl group named GIRL's DAY (yes, you heard it right) is really growing in me and I just found myself listening to it over & over again. You may wanna want to listen to it so here's a video.

I think the song is catchy & danceable & the choreography is cute & easy to follow.

How about you? What do you think?

It's 10:46 pm and I just woke up 2 hours ago. I've dreamed/nightmare of a snake.

I got a little creepy feeling coz I'm really frightened of them. But what frightens me more is the dream's indication. When I dream of snakes, usually my immediate plans that time won't push through. I've proven this theory of mine for several times already. Let's see what will happen.

1st Job Application as a FRESH GRAD!

Yesterday, I kicked off my job hunt. I went to this Korean company in Makati . The pay looks really lucrative to me so I didn't have a second thought. I was told to come back this morning for my FINAL INTERVIEW. It took me only10 minutes I think. And then I waited at the lobby. This Mr. PJ told me they'd just call me. Which of course was translated as a kind of euphemism of rejection to me. So I shrugged it off. I was really sad of course but that's life! I didn't want to go home a loser so I tried this company where my sister is currently working. After like 40 minutes of processed I was informed I passed and to start training On Monday. When I got back home, I received two missed calls from the FIRST company. So I called the number & asked why they called. I was so happy to hear that I passed. That 18, 000 peso-paying job is just what I need now to pay everything. Aside from that I am also planning to have a PART TIME JOB with the SECOND company. Yes. I need to be busy. I feel like my physical body is so accustomed to it. So I'm off to a new start on Monday or Tuesday next week. Just wish me luck!

Thank you so much po Lord again for this wonderful blessing. Kanina lang pinagpepray ko to but now it's here!!

Lame Title for a Grad POst!

April 12th 2011 marked the end of my suffering? my sacrifice? association with classmates?

or the start of a new professional life?

That would of course be the latter.

So there was it. Our GRADUATION. Both of my parents attended & both were very proud. I am in fact, the first college graduate in the family.

Nothing really unusual. It wasn't what I thought it would be 2 years ago. It was just a long ceremony officiating our commencement. I made myself a little resistant to overwhelming emotions that day. I didn't want to ruin my make up you know. Oh yeah there was also a part were I cried a little bit.

One thing that surprised me was the presence of my father. From kindergarten to college, my father have never attended any school event for me. But that graduation day was an exception. He arrived at my house here in Manila in the morning of my graduation looking really sleepy. And it was funny how both my parents tried o make sure to have some 'proofs' with them by the time the ceremony ended. And it was to prove to my aunts & uncles who are as I've said in my previous posts my fathers best detractors that I indeed graduated.

Sabi nila baka daw nagpopokpok lang ako dito sa Manila at di naman talaga gagraduate. Na nagyayabang at nagsisinungaling lang sina mama about my graduation.

How pathetic. I just really laughed. Naawa talaga ako sa kanila(relatives) promise. Haisst..I thought that I would just waste my time proving myself to them.

anyway it's HUWEBES SANTO bukas. Kaya maging mabait na tayo?

So is that the end of my post about my long-awaited graduation?

o may pahabol pala. I am very thankful to God that He heard my prayers.

Bro, marami pong salamat!

There goes my name.

(excited manoon ng Sorcerer's Apprentice after this.)

THESIS(?) - A Thing of the Past.

Before, whenever I heard the word THESIS..I immediately got overwhelmed with so much dread & laziness...but now..

It is just a thing of the past.

The grueling THESIS has finally come to an end. [weeehw!] That was really something. It is more than a requirement to graduate. I think it is the last challenge every college student should experience to mature. I've encountered a lot through it.

I've learned how to deal with really difficult people.[or so I thought?]

I've come to understand how different personalities can work as one.

I've known how 'kapal ng mukha' one can be.

..and I think the most important thing I learned is that I've come too know more deeply my alter-ego.MYSELF.

I was pushed to the limit..I even thought of giving up. I've learned how one's perception & way of thinking can change his/her fate.

Although I consider it a CURSE I am still thankful that I didn't skip this one.

When I finally saw the hard bound copy...I didn't know what to say. I was a magnificent by-product of our sweat, blood, sacrifice & hard work!
I was like a new father seeing his new-born child.

[picture not mine]

It was so surreal.

So enough of the drama.

The road to a new life awaits.

Thank you so much Lord! [tears]

Another group mate named Mae is not in the sorry.

So GROUP 8 of BS Psychology Major in Industrial Psychology bids goodbye to the grueling past & excitedly awaits the future.

Anyway, our thesis just to give you a little info about our THESIS, it was about the relationship/implication/correlation of Employee Job Satisfaction to Their Absenteeism.
